I agree with Michael S; she ain't much to look at, but she's got it where it counts.
Biscuits are fantastic. Bonwood special is definitely worth a try. Far exceeded my expectations. Blow past Waffle House and stop in here.
Hit the spot after a weekend on the river. -

So delicious and very reasonably priced! If you're traveling from Memphis to Nashville, it's worth the detour!
We had eggs, bacon and biscuits & gravy. The biscuits are the best I've had in years. We also had a slice of German Chocolate cake since she told us it was made from scratch.
The waitress was very kind! Don't let the exterior or decor fool you! It's old, but they're doing it right! -

The tables are worn and it may not have been decorated in 15 years but even my teenager's loved the cheeseburgers. The atmosphere is a country down home feel. People are friendly and you can tell its the local meeting place for the older generation. Great place.

Great breakfast. Had the bonwood special with three eggs hashbrowns sausage and biscuits and gravy. Everything was delicious. Huge portions. The waitress gave great service. Even a juke box to listen to some classic tunes.
My partner ordered the fried shrimp with fries and coleslaw and didn't like it at all.
